DEVON LIFE
FEBRUARY 2017

"Based at Matford, near Exeter, this hidden away tree and architectural plant nursery is one of the Exeter's best kept secrets. Sourcing from around the globe and supplying to garden acolytes including Chelsea Flower Show designers, Sam and Lee have their finger on the garden fashion pulse but also know what will do well in your garden, whether it's a cloud-pruned privet or an exotic date palm.

Many of the plants sourced for Chelsea show gardens find their way onto the sale in the nursery, so if you're after something really special... They also offer a landscape and design service. "

Toby will create a “little green oasis” with trees and colourful spring flowers in Princesshay on Saturday, April 9, from 10am to 3pm.

Toby will be offering gardening advice and running a plant-problem surgery from his pop-up potting shed in the central square in an urban jungle of fantastic trees and plants created our nursery.

And don’t miss the seed giveaway by RAMM who are promoting their programme of Naturally Inspired exhibitions and activities, part of which will be a pop-up garden created by Toby in the inside Museum.

Toby Buckland's Garden Festival, Powderham Castle
APRIL 28- 29

The courtyard of Powderham Castle will be transformed into a gardener's idea of heaven in April. We really enjoy this festival - where else you get chance to talk to the best specialist nurseries, buy from the best growers and learn a few new tricks at various workshops and talks in the speaker's tent. We strongly recommend the local food and drinks too!
